Chapter 5: Yuki

I asked her what her full name was. She replied, “Yuki Onna.”

When I looked it up, I came up with an old Japanese tale about a couple of men lost in a blizzard. Obviously, it’s not her real name. She refuses to even hint at her real name. I suppose it’s not important anyway. I’m more interested in why she’s here.

From that doctor’s blog, she seems to be a hunter of some sort. I’ve never heard of her before, though. I’ve also done my best to track down what blogs she’s frequented. She hasn’t commented on much that I was able to find. Just the usual Runner information sites like the Archive and Proxiehunter’s place. There was something about this crazy girl I didn’t have the time to read too, but I didn’t think it was really important.

She won’t let me anywhere near her laptop either. I can’t even manage to peek over her shoulder when she is on it. I doubt I would be able to get into it even if I was left alone with it. I was just luck with Andrew’s computer. I wouldn’t be able to get pass a password.
