Bogus

Silent is wrong. I don’t care how hard he researched and all the stupid pseudo-scientific things he’s done, he’s wrong. I know for a fact that there are multiple Fears.

I can’t believe this was the theory he was talking about.

I would have stopped him right at the beginning.

Observation, getting more specialized, all that is bullshit.

They just want to fuck with our heads, turn us against each other, and watch us suffer.

I’m making another page for the full version of what I’ve concluded, since I imagine some of you don’t want to have to sift through all the technical details. Long story short is: there is only one Fear. Obviously it is something beyond our current comprehension, but it probably operates within a higher dimension with us, allowing it to appear in multiple places seemingly instantaneously. I don’t want to get into all that; I know you guys can Google.

Basically, I haven’t magically come up with an explanation of the Fears that completely demystifies the thing. It’s still as eldritch as ever. But there is only one. And it has been changing. It molds itself to our fears and what we respond to, accounting for the sudden increase and appearance of new Fears.

But again, if you want all the technical details, look at the “Singluaris Theory” page.

Yuki is anything but pleased with me for doing this. She refuses to believe that the Fears are a single entity. I almost feel like I’ve told her that the Earth revolves around the Sun. I’m pretty sure it has to do with something she hasn’t told me, but it’s not my place to pry.

Last questions

Silent's getting a bit antsy, so we both decided to put the final two questions in one post. Again, be as specific as possible, and thanks a lot for helping us out with that. I know some of these can get personal, and it's hard to open up about those things.

Question Four:
Why do you think there has been a surge in Fear activity and a sudden emergence of previously unheard of Fears? If you believe that they were created recently, how and why?

Question Five:
What do you think the Fears are?

Question Three

What type of person do you think each of the Fears targets (for example, the Plague Doctor targets hypochondriacs, the Cold Boy targets lonely people, etc)?

Again, please be specific (more specific than my examples).
